C64-Longplay - Avenger
I wondered a bit that there was no C64-Longplay from the gremlin graphics game "Avenger" on UA-cam. So I choosed to try one. I don`t think this is one of my best longplays but still fine. And to be honest; to play that game wasn`t so amusing and I was happy as the game was over.
Special thanks goes to Axelino. Without his Longplay from the CPC-Version I would never made this video.

1:32 lol, se hacen harakiri, igual exageran de realismo
OK I played this so much a 10-year-old kid, and it's funny seeing how little through the game I actually got. Back then we had games like this, and other games like this - modern grand strategy didn't even exist. I really wasn't cut out for this kind of game, lol.
Jugué este juego en el 89 con tan solo 6 años de edad. Obra maestra. Saludos desde Argentina
That river with rocks was BRUTAL!!
Wonderfull 👍
Holy crap, the memories. I honestly would’ve never remembered this game if it wasn’t for UA-cam.
So, at first glance this is Miner 2049er, that borrows sprites from Sammy Lightfoot which came out in the same year. Good artists copy, etc...
There are so many fantastic games out there today, but in a weird, nostalgic way this is still somewhat peak gaming to me alongside Boulder Dash.
240p = HQ ???
Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the fact that there was a video game where you played as Prince Harry. This was it.
My friend played this game off a cassette tape back in the early 80s. I'd already had a disk drive so I wasn't impressed. I am now.
Mountain Dew must have funded this game.
didn't Nintendo try to sue this because it's the same of smb but just for the C64?
This game was great!
2:00, 4:51, 5:10,5:45,16:44,18:01,18:24,18:45 can please somebody tell me what is that enemy that goes jumping across the floor? thanks
Welcome back. Good to see new videos.
love this music :D
25:27 TOP NOTCH Story Writing!
It's pretty amazing for a 1985 c64 game
a game that was literally made to ripoff and cash in on the success of Super Mario Brothers Nintendo: oh nothing wrong here non profit games made by fans that were made out of love and respect for the Mario franchise Nintendo: send in the lawyers
Man I love this game. Always have and probably always will.
Great sprite artwork!!
what does the skeleton do? just be there?
I dont remember much about this game. A friend of mine in the mid 80s, his dad had a C64. We werent supposed to touch it unless he was there watching to make dure we didnt mess it up. They had like 4 games for it, this being one of them. I remember he played this like 2 or 3 times but we couldnt evee figure out what to do, so we usually played some Ninja game. We were like 6 or 7 so Below the Root was a little too complex for us lol. Anyways, as I got older, for some reason this game has crossed my mind. Its always been in my subconscious for some reason. I got really big into Point and Click/adventure games in the early to mid 90s but I've never had the chance to try to play this gamw again. I think I may have to try to find it. Is it on Steam or GOG?
If only Rob Hubbard had done the music. I feel like it is flat compared to the real theme. The SID can do more.
Another game I could never finish. But I loved how he screamed when he fell.
I played this game for HOURS back in the 80s on my dad's C64.. I could never remember the name of it till looking through a 200-game UA-cam video compilation. Now I know and will probably remember it.
Used to love this, seemed really high tech at the time.
One of my favorites!! Thank you!
A very fantastic game:human brain versus artificial intelligence.

Oh man what a classic!
Yes, I've finally found the game of my childhood. I have tears in my eyes. 😢❤ Greetings from Germany
Such an epic game!
Is a average game in my opinion
Some nice music with a big fart on top of it
I didn't record my times, but I think I'm up there with speed runs recorded with the amount of time I spent on this game Many good times from my childhood,
Back then Druid, now we have Diablo and it's basically the same game after all these years. It's crazy cool to see the roots of it all again.
Legendary music better than on amiga Also level scrolling... not like stages on amiga
Good memories playing this game as a kid. Man, i miss my c64
here for all the different songs used in the game
You can see where games like I wanna be the guy must have taken inspiration from this specifically, with the weird traps that you need to wait to trigger, moving blocks that crush you, spikes that pop out of nowhere etc.
listening to this - I honestly dont know how anybody sane can argue that SID sound better then POKEY.
I could only finally beat this game by using an emulator to save my progress to figure out the final level. I made it to that level without saving, but it was too frustrating to have to start over when the timing on some levels was so picky. But it was awesome fun. Very Wile-E-Coyote like.
This, zaxxon, the way of the exploding fist... so many more fond memories, ahh the good old days. When one was being patient enough for a tape to load the game, sometimes both sides 😂 kids thats an hour and a half btw 😉... whats a tape?😂 Or reach the end of tape and it didn't load 😢 start again 😂 Now I'm impatient if takes more than 3 secs to load the next map in an fps 🙄🤦♂️🤷♂️ Crazy times we live in today and how some of us have changed 😮 😂 Miss the old school loading adverts and tunes too, premium stuff ❤
+++🛃🤣+++I 🐸🦘 HAD THAT GAME ON MY C64 🛂+ I THOUGHT ❓❓❓IT WAS GREAT++++++LOVED IT+++
I had this one back in the days
Nice to see a new video! Thanks!
I remember this back in my c64-128 days. So young, so innocent!!!!!
